About the exhibitors:

Stian A. Rasmussen (b. 1996)
Stian is originally from Lørenskog in Norway and is now based in Gothenburg. He works with photography to explore how nature shapes our perceptions and relationships. His practice revolves around materials, forms and landscapes - exploring both proximity to and alienation from the natural world. He is currently studying at the Bachelor program in Photography at HDK-Valand.

Anton Thorstensson (b. 1993)
Based in Gothenburg, Anton brings a background in music and punk culture into his material-based practice. He explores sustainability through the use of wood and recycled materials, with the aim to balance aesthetics and function. Anton graduated from the Design program at HDK-Valand in 2024.

Emma & Conti (b. 1986/1994)
Emma & Conti is a Gothenburg-based artist duo consisting of Emma Sandström (b. 1986, Sweden) and Stefano Conti (b. 1994, Italy). Their joint practice includes sculptural and photographic installations that explore materiality, the perception of objects and their intertwining with human history. Recent exhibitions include Galleri Format (Malmö, 2023), Atelier NOUA (Bodø, 2022), Northern Photographic Center (Oulu, 2022) and Museum of World Cultures (Genoa, 2021).

Emil Carlsiö (b. 1988)
Emil's artistic practice revolves around painting and often draws inspiration from symbols in flags representing stateless nations and temporary collectives. His visual language moves between landscapes and artificial imagery, challenging the boundaries between two- and three-dimensional space. References include late 1980s arcade games, movie posters and elements of natural scenery.

Maria Antchougova (b. 1994)
Maria was born in Crimea, raised in Belgium and works in Sweden. With a background in drawing, printmaking and self-publishing, her practice has begun to move towards working with clay and sculpture. Influenced by Azoulay's Potential History, she searches for ways to reconnect with what has been cut off, overlooked or left behind.
